Getting ready to cut the ribbon...

A vast amount of testing and technical implementation work has been going on to get a clinically useful system delivered from Day 1 of NIECR going live, thanks to all the Northern Ireland doctors, nurses and clinical records managers helping to validate all this work. Our implementation managers in Trusts and Primary Care are gathering eager ‘early adopters’ to be given access to NIECR as soon as it is available. We are extremely grateful too to all those involved in the information governance work stream in ensuring that we are sharing information safely and securely.

Public Information Leaflet door drop scheduled for the week beginning 29th April 2013

It is important that the public know that we are implementing NIECR, and understand some of the benefits that this will bring to them directly. The information leaflet developed by the NIECR team is being delivered to every household in Northern Ireland in the week of Monday 29th April 2013. This leaflet will also be available in clinics, surgeries, pharmacies and libraries throughout Northern Ireland.
